Detroit Metropolitan Chapter Seeks Nominations

The Detroit Metropolitan Chapter of ASPA is soliciting nominees for key offices for the program year that begins July 1, 2017.
Open positions on the DETMI-ASPA Executive Council include:
- President-Elect serving a 2 year term, 1 year as President-Elect and 1 year as President
- Treasurer serving a 1 year term
- Secretary serving a 1 year term
- Council Members serving a 2 year term
Detailed descriptions of each position is available here. Each position has distinct responsibilities and obligations within ASPA and is vital to the Chapter's operation as responsible members of the American Society for Public Administration. The council usually meets monthly, normally at noon, to plan programs.
All members of the chapter in good standing are eligible to run for office. If you do nominate someone for a vacancy, we ask that you check with that person regarding his or her willingness to be nominated. You may submit your nominations via email to any member of the nominating committee.
