Central Pennsylvania Chapter Awards Nomination Open
The Central Pennsylvania Chapter of ASPA is accepting nominations for its 5th Annual Awards Ceremony on May 4, 2017 in the Harrisburg area.
- Lifetime Achievement Award in Public Administration
- Must be (or have been) an employee of a non-profit organization; local, state or federal agency; business; or health administration entity in Pennsylvania.
- Must have at least 25 years of public service experience.
- Demonstrates conspicuous leadership and achievement throughout their career in public service that advance the mission and vision of ASPA.
- This individual can be an ASPA Member or a non-ASPA Member in Pennsylvania.
- Excellence in Public Service Award in Public Administration
- Must be an employee of a non-profit organization; local, state or federal agency; business; or health administration entity in Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrates evidence of accomplishing or causing to accomplish significant programs or projects benefitting the general public that advance the mission and vision of ASPA.
- This individual can be an ASPA Member or a non-ASPA Member in Pennsylvania.
- Public Servant Leadership Award in Public Administration
- Must be an employee of a non-profit organization; local, state or federal agency; business; health administration entity; or an institute of higher education in Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrates evidence of accomplishing or causing to accomplish significant programs or projects benefitting the general public that advance the mission and vision of ASPA.
- Must be a Member of the Central PA Chapter of ASPA.
- Excellence in Local Government Award in Public Administration
- Must be an employee of a local government entity in Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrates evidence of accomplishing or causing to accomplish significant programs or projects benefitting the general public that advance the mission and vision of ASPA.
- This individual can be an ASPA Member or a non-ASPA Member in Pennsylvania.
- Outstanding Young Professional Award in Public Administration
- Must be an employee of a non-profit organization; local, state or federal agency; business; or health administration entity in Pennsylvania.
- Must be under the age of 40 at the time of nomination.
- Demonstrates evidence of accomplishing or causing to accomplish significant programs or projects benefitting the general public that advance the mission and vision of ASPA.
- This individual can be an ASPA Member or a non-ASPA Member in Pennsylvania.
- Outstanding Student Award in Public Administration
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at an institute of higher education in Pennsylvania.
- Must be enrolled in a public administration, health administration, public policy or political science (or similar area of study) at the time of nomination.
- Must be in good academic standing (overall GPA of 3.0 or higher).
- Demonstrates an extraordinary understanding of and a strong commitment to a career in public administration, health administration, public policy or political science.
- This individual can be an ASPA Member or a non-ASPA Member in Pennsylvania.
