Students and New Administration Professionals Section

Student and New Administration Professionals (SNAPS) is a Section of the American Society of Public Administration (ASPA) that aims to provide networking and professional development activities for students and new professionals. Our purpose is to provide SNAPS members with networking, professional development, and engagement opportunities to better prepare and succeed in the field of public administration.

Specifically, SNAPS aims to provide a forum for an ongoing dialogue within ASPA regarding the special environment and challenges facing students and new professionals. We facilitate programs to encourage the professional growth and development of students and new professionals, support students and new professionals through networking, mentoring, and continuing education, and promote student and new professional research and services for the betterment of public service. By becoming a member of SNAPS, you will be able to engage in leadership opportunities and discussions on relevant PA issues with other professionals as well as submit research for publication and access unique content such as newsletters, career trends, job opportunities, etc.
