Keystone State Chapter

The Keystone State Chapter of ASPA works to serve its members in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with professional development and networking opportunities. After the reactivation of the chapter in 2011 with 52 members, membership has tripled over the past 10 years. In an environment of collaboration and sharing between professionals in state and local government, academia, nonprofit organizations, and business corporations, members represent many of the major institutions within the state. Reflecting the national organization, members share both practical and academic information regarding the field. The Chapter seeks particularly to provide speaking opportunities to doctoral students from the major universities in the state. This approach provides the graduate students with professional speaking opportunities and offers Chapter members professional development opportunities to learn about current trends and research in public administration.
