Collaborative Website Launched Between U.S. and NISPAcee

ASPA members are invited to participate in a new collaborative website aimed at spurring cross-national research between public administration scholars in the United States and their counterparts in Central and Eastern Europe.

This website is a project of generated between the American Society for Public Administration and the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee). The NISPAcee region includes 29 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, the West Balkans, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

The purpose of the website is to provide information to researchers that will aid in searching for possible collaborators and initiating new research, providing a platform for the exchange of information on topical, methodological and geographical interests of scholars. The site allows users to register as members, list their preferences for research and to post in a forum about possible new or existing projects.

The website can be found here:  www.paresearchcommons.org

If you are interested in this type of collaborative research, please take a few moments to register, join the “ASPA-NISPAcee Research Group” and post ideas for research. Both the research group forum and member profiles are also searchable for keywords related to your research interests.

Please contact Alex Henderson with any questions about this project or feedback about the website.
